El día 10 de Septiembre, Eugenio se presentará en el Teatro de la Ciudad
en la calle de Donceles del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México en el
concierto llamado "Eugenio Toussaint" donde estará acompañado de
varios músicos como: Paul McCandless, Agustin Bernal, Gabriel Puentes,
Alejandro Campos y Armando Montiel y después de diez años sin aparecer en
escena Sacbe se reune otra vez. Eugenio Enrique y Fernando
Toussaint. El concierto se llevara a cabo a las 9 de la noche, los boletos
ya estan disponibles en Ticketmaster.
On September 10th, Eugenio will be performing with many
musician-friends at Teatro de la Ciudad in México City. Some of this
friends include:
reedman Paul McCandless best known for his work with the band Oregon, Agustin
Bernal and Gabriel Puentes, members of Trío, Eugenio´s most recent
jazz project, Enrique and Fernando Toussaint, brothers and original memebrs
of Sacbe. This band will reunite almost ten years after its last
concert in Mexico. Other musicians included in the bill are Alejandro Campos,
founder of Sacbé, on saxophones and Armando Montiel(percussionist). The
concert will take place at 9:00 PM. |

at Sala Silvestre Revueltas of Centro Cultural Ollin Yolliztli by Mexico City Philharmonic with
Alberto Cruzprieto on piano and Jesús Medina conducting.This same work will be performed again on
May 27 and 29 at Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City by National Symphony Orchestra with Arturo
Nieto-Dorantes on piano conducted by Héctor Guzmán.

El CD de Eugenio ¨Música de Cámara¨
ha sido nominado para un Grammy Latino como mejor CD de música clásica. La premiación se
llevará a cabo el 1 de Septiembre en la Ciudad de Los Angeles. Esta es la segunda nominación de
Eugenio para un Grammy Latino en la categoría de música clásica.
El Tercer Diplomado de Orquestación y Análisi dará inicio el 09 de Novembre en la Academia
Fermatta. Para mas información contactar la

Eugenio acaba de terminar un nuevo CD con su trío de jazz con Agustín Bernal en el
bajo y Gabriel Puentes en la batería. El CD estará disponible a mediados del mes de
Septiembre.
The CD Eugenio Toussaint ¨Música
de Cámara¨ has been nominated for Best Classical CD for the Latin
Grammy Awards to be held in Los Angeles September 1 2004. This is the second time Eugenio has
been nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Classical Music category.
Eugenio's Orchestration Course will start November 09 at the
Academia de Musica Fermatta.
Eugenio has just finished recording a new CD with his jazz trío along with Agustín
Bernal on bass and Gabriel Puentes on drums. It is planned to be released mid

La obra de Eugenio Popol-Vuh será interpretada en Caracas Venezuela, por la
orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar. Eugenio estará en Caracas ofreciendo unas conferencias sobre su
música entre los días 14 y 18 de Abril.
Eugenio will be in Caracas Venezuela, between the 14th - 18th of April,
where his piece Popol-Vuh will be performed by Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar.

El dia 24 de Marzo a las 8:00 p.m. se presentará el concierto
Jazz y Vino en la enoteca Tierra de Vinos en donde Eugenio conducirá una cata especial
de tres vinos cubriendo un espectro de vino sencillo a sofisticado, alternando de igual manera
con música que irà de simple a muy sofisticada pasando del piano solo al dueto con contrabajo y
terminando con trio. Estara acompañado por Agustín Bernal en el contrabajo y Gabriel Puentes en
la batería.

Eugenio will be performing at Tierra de Vinos (a great wine and food
place) on March 24 at 8:00 p.m. in a concert called Jazz and Wine. He will be
playing and conducting a wine tasting which will cover three different wines and their matches
with food, going from the simple to very sophisticated. The music will also go from simple (piano
solo) to sophisticated (trio) with an interlude of semi-sophisticated (duo). He is
accompanied by Agustín Bernal on bass, and Gabriel Puentes on acoustic bass. This should be a fun
and interesting event!

Festival Internacional de Jazz de
Medellin en Colombia ante una audiencia de mas de 5000
personas con gran éxito. De igual forma se llevó a cabo un concierto en el Teatro Colón de la
Ciudad de Bogotá.
El trío se presentará en día 1 de Agosto en la Ciudad de Guadalajara.
El CD "Eugenio Toussaint"-Musica de Cámara
saldrá al mercado el día 15 de Julio. Este CD contiene varias piezas de cámara,
interpretadas por algunos de los más importantes músicos y agrupaciones de México como
son:Horacio Franco, Alberto Cruzprieto, Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Marisa Canales, Ensamble Tres y
otros. El CD sera distribuído por Urtext
Digital Classics.
The Eugenio Toussaint Jazz Trío (with Agustín Bernal on bass and
Gabriel Puentes on drums) just performed at the
Medellin International Jazz Festival
before an audience of more than 5000 people with great success. Another concert was held at
Teatro Colon in Bogotá City also in Colombia.
The trío will perform in Guadalajara México August 1.
Eugenio´s new CD "Eugenio Toussaint-Chamber Music" will be available July 15. Included are
various chamber pieces performed by some of the best chamber groups and performers in Mexico such
as Horacio Franco, Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Ensamble tres and Alberto Cruzprieto amongst others.
